Meet Our Founder

I was born in Uganda during the tyrannical reign of Idi Amin. He terrorized Uganda in the 1970s, and approximately 300,000 people were killed during his regime. His reign of persecution was the reason my parents and I fled when I was eighteen months old.

Our journey took us from the tropical climate of the equator to Duluth, Minnesota. Eventually we moved to Southern California where I lived for over two decades. I received my bachelor’s from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. I was on the pastoral staff at Faith Church in West Covina, California, for more than 15 years. I had the honor of empowering thousands to walk in their calling, rise up as leaders and develop meaningful relationships in community.

I’m a bucket list girl! When I’m not exploring a fascinating country around the world, trying new foods or enjoying interior design, I’m checking things off my list. From skydiving, scuba diving, being part of a Super Bowl halftime show and hiking Half Dome in Yosemite, to completing a few marathons and a sprint triathlon. I LOVE adventure!!!

I am currently living in Birmingham, AL with the love of my life, Phil Klein. For over 2 decades I cried out to God, waited, believed and trusted Him to bring the man He had for me. Phil is the miracle answer to my prayers! I am passionate about inspiring people to draw close to the heart of God and walk in their divine purpose with gratitude in each step.
